Hey, we're back!

Hey there! Co-Founder Josh here.

After a very long hiatus (since 2019!), Allergenius Baking Co. is finally back!
We've been non-stop working on this business since its inception in 2018 and to see it come to fruition is extremely gratifying. We put our hearts and souls into pursuing this venture- I hope you can tell!

What's new with us? Well, to start, we now have a substantial amount of capital thanks to our win at the National Pitch Competition. We are putting this funding towards testing and improving our recipes- we settle for nothing less than amazing! For the full story about our journey, go here. Our next big step is pitching at Forge on Nov 7 & 8, the largest student-run startup conference in the Midwest. This event is hosted by  Founders Illinois, an entrepreneurship organization at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign that Co-Founder Anya and I are members of! Oh, and Anya and I are students at U of I. Go Illini! This university has given us so many opportunities and SO many more to come. We have some exciting meetings coming up with faculty and alumni industry professionals who can help us progress in our journey.

The ultimate goal is to scale our operation so we can distribute delicious, safe cookies to people across the US. Of course, we will update you on our successes and failures as they come.

As the creative director for Allergenius, it's funny to see how the designs and graphics have changed as my creative skills developed. Take the 2018-2020 logo design progression as an example; oh, how far we've come! But my skills, creative drive, and inspiration continue to flourish each day. I'm beyond excited for our future plans. The best has yet to come.
